TEB Belt Elevator

This conveyor allows the safe and clean elevation of any bulk product with low levels of humidity, with only a small land space being necessary to perform the vertical transport of the material. It gives the following main advantages with respect to the traditional conveyor belts:

  • Utilizing the least possible space, permitting work angles of up to 90º.
  • Eliminating transfer points by combining the use of horizontal and vertical stretches in only one conveyor.
  • Lower installed power supply, therefore saving of energy.

The basic working of these conveyors simulates the working of the conventional bucket elevators, substituting the metal buckets for a belt reinforced with a rigid metal section over which the sidewalls are vulcanized. Some transversal reinforced cork plugs are fixed to these walls with the necessary pitch in order to obtain the transport performance required.

Frame made with UPN laminated profiles and angles, diagonally braced and welded lengthways and transversely, forming a frame and reticular trellis.

The carrying idlers are bridled over the frame, permitting, in a simple way, the modification of its distribution and position for the optimum reception of the load and the correct centering and aligning of the belt.

The frames are constructed in modules with the intention of making transport and installation at the client as easy as possible, as well as the possibility to adapt to any length and height of the conveyor required.

The drums are made of cylindrical laminated metal sheet, mechanized to the tail drum and stuck to the drive. The shafts of the drums are fixed to the interior cylindrical metal tube cubes, using conical rings and SN type supports with bearings to the frame.

In the same way, the shafts of the higher and lower inflection wheels are fixed using conical rings and SN type supports with bearings to the frame.

Standard belt widths are of 500, 650, 800, 1000, 1200 and 1400 mm. Special project widths of 1600 mm are being studied.

Maximum transport capacity, depending on densities and the characteristics of each product are about 400-500 T/h.
